A win could move the Owls back into the top six after three consecutive draws and just two wins in their last 10 matches, but their opponents have secured four of their five wins this season at home.

Saturday’s sell-out at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium is also the first-ever competitive meeting between the sides.

Key Events

  • Sheffield Wednesday could move back into the top six with a win
  • Four of Cheltenham’s five wins have come at home this season

Dunkley at the double!

Bannan’s free-kick is flicked on by Kamberi and takes a touch off Dunkley before finding the back of the net.

Absolute pandemonium in the away end.

13 corners and counting for Sheffield Wednesday this afternoon, with one of them conveted to a goal.

Dunkely, who has played well all afternoon, meets Patterson’s long throw at the near post and the ball bounces into the six-yard box but there’s no one there to turn it home. Any touch would have seen the Owls take the lead.

Alfie May replaces Liam Sercombe in their first switch.

Excellent defending from Dunkley

Cheltenham break quickly and get a shot off in the box, which looks to be heading for the bottom corner before Dunkley throws himself in the way to prevent them from retaking the lead.

Berahino replaces Dele-Bashiru.

Chey gets the equaliser!

Delivery from Bannan to the back post and Dunkley uses his strength well to hold off his man and get on the end of it.

Chances at both end

Chey Dunkley times his run well to meet a corner at the back post. He’s quite far out but gets his head to the ball and it’s flicked over for another corner.

Nothing comes from that and Cheltenham break quickly and get a shot away, but BPF is out quick to close down the space and equal to the effort.

Hopefully this second half is kicking into life.

Theo Corbeanu is coming on...

Wednesday need to change something. We’re yet to see a reaction in the second half.

Olamide Shodipo, who has been Wednesday’s biggest threat in this match, is the man going off.

We’re still here.

...just not a lot happening.
