Wednesday edged the better efforts on goal and went close through Moses Odubajo, Kadeem Harris and Massimo Luongo but overall they lacked a bit of quality and cutting edge in the final third. The draw leaves Garry Monk’s men in 15th and 11 points above the relegation zone as they nervously wait the outcome of the EFL hearing. Here’s what Wednesdayites had to say about the performance and result…

@SheffWedWOTMT: “Frustrating game. Hudds had nothing up front but worked hard to defend and we didn't have enough quality in the final third. Their keeper had to make the few saves that were required.”

@swfcsc: “Stats you don't want to hear (No:342): Wigan scored twice as many home goals tonight than Wednesday have scored in 2020.”

@Owlstalk: “Two games back for Tom Lees, and two clean sheets. That'll do for me.”

@Owl4Life23: “We are an absolute joke at home. These 3 points could have been massive with what is going on off the pitch. Very disappointing.”

@LeeJFisher1: “The cardboard cut outs were thrilled.”

@WednesdayRetro: “When is the DVD out.”

@epowell36: “Well that was painful to watch, can’t pass, can’t control, can’t shoot, can’t play football. What a complete shambles & a total embarrassment!!”

@Nickstar_S6: “That's 90 minutes the cardboard cutouts won't get back.”

@stocksytheowl: “Never looked like scoring. Garbage.”

@1867News: “You can't expect to get anything from Fulham and Warnock does us over every single chuffing time. The saving grace is there are several teams we could overhaul with a win. The reality is we probably won't get another point.”

@NewYorkOwls: “Not his biggest fan but Tom Lees has looked better the past two games. Overall the whole defence did well today, not so great further up the field...”

@MattHarris6: “The regression of Adam Reach is astounding. He’s gone from being integral to the team to looking like someone who won a raffle to play in a game.”
