Beni Carbone feels Sunderland should have given his former Sheffield Wednesday team-mate Paolo Di Canio more time to turn things around at the Stadium of Light.
Carbone, who watched the Owls 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town last Saturday as part of a weekend trip to England from his home in Milan, has revealed he would like to manage Sheffield Wednesday one day.
“I think of England as my second home, and when we talk about Sheffield, we talk about my family. Whenever I see Sheffield Wednesday fans anywhere in the world, they remember me fondly.
“It is my dream to manage the club.”
