‘Pato’ has got four goals in his last seven games for the Owls and has got six in all competitions this season, but picked up a knock to his ankle in Dorset that forced him off – he was replaced by eventual match-winner, Jordan Rhodes.
With that in mind, and the quick turnaround of games, there were concerns that the 26-year-old may not be available at The Den, however he says that he’s ready and raring to go.

Hide AdSpeaking to the media this morning, the Scotland international said, “I was assessed yesterday… I rolled my ankle - it’s my dodgy ankle, so no risks were taken. I’m ready to go, hopefully I’m picked again and hopefully I can get another goal.”
Another goal would go down nicely, and he needs just five more to make this season his best in terms of goals since leaving Scotland (he got 10 for Cardiff City in 2017/18).
So has he set himself a target to set a new personal best?
“For somebody like me, you take a day as it comes!” he told The Star. “I can be a donkey on one day and alright the day after - it’d be amazing to break my personal record as you say, but I’m happy just to be playing football.
“My main focus is just staying in this division and hopefully getting selected for the Scotland squad for the Euros.”
Wednesday face Millwall at 3pm on Saturday afternoon.
