The Owls visit lowly Notts County for the first time in 14 years on Tuesday night.
Henrik Pedersen’s side put five past AFC Wimbledon on Saturday and now turn their attention to the newly-promoted strugglers Magpies, who are second from bottom with just one win all season.
Wednesday moved up to sixth in the League One table at the weekend and could climb into the top two with three more points and if results go their way.
With it being a three-game week, it will be intriguing to see how Pedersen uses his squad, with some players’ minutes needing to be managed.
Let’s take a look at how they could line-up...

5. Reece James - LB
Max Lowe is breathing down his neck to re-claim his place but James was excellent against AFC Wimbledon and provided a brilliant assist for the fourth goal. Lowe might come in for one of the games this week, though. | Steve Ellis

6. Barry Bannan - CM
Scored his first goal of the season against the Dons, sending Wednesday on their way to a crushing victory. Like Cooper, he too was given a breather on the hour. | Steve Ellis

7. Billy Mitchell - CM
Jayden Heskey does not deserve to lose his place but we'll take a punt and predict that Mitchell will come back for one of the next two away games this week. | Steve Ellis

8. Callum Slattery - RW
The summer signing is playing a fluid role depending on whether Wednesday are attacking or defending. Performed well at the weekend and got on the scoresheet. | Steve Ellis
