Monk, whose side are chasing a fourth consecutive away win in all competitions, has handed first-team recalls to Dominic Iorfa, Barry Bannan and Atdhe Nuhiu.

Tom Lees, Sam Hutchinson and Jordan Rhodes have dropped out of the starting XI.

Hutchinson misses out with a foot injury sustained in Friday's FA Cup victory over Queens Park Rangers while Massimo Luongo is unavailable for selection due to a groin strain.

Full-back Liam Palmer and forward Fernando Forestieri are not involved and 12-goal leading scorer Steven Fletcher (knee) is a long-term injury casualty.
