Another Sheffield Wednesday man ruled out for the year! – Jack Marriott has returned to Derby County
Marriott joined the Owls on loan from Derby on transfer deadline day not that long ago, but now it appears that he will not be playing any more games in blue and white before 2020 comes to an end in a few weeks’ time.
The 26-year-old becomes the latest injury casualty at Wednesday in what has been a rough couple of months in that regard, and joins Aden Flint as another player who will not be available to Pulis for the foreseeable future.

Hide AdSpeaking to the media after Wednesday’s 1-0 defeat away at Preston North End, Pulis explained that the forward will be out for ‘six or seven weeks’.
The new Wednesday manager said, “Jack’s back at Derby, I think he’s long-term… He’s going to be long-term, obviously Flinty is long-term as well. So we’re not going to see either of those two.
“It was his calf I think, whatever it was it’ll be six or seven weeks I think.”
The injury compounds Pulis’ problems in terms of player selection, with Kadeem Harris missing the next two games due to suspension while Josh Windass – who was sent off today – will now miss the next three.
