Josh Windass was given his marching orders just 17 minutes into the Owls match with Preston North End for a high, late challenge on Joseph Rafferty.

Incredibly, he is now the fourth Wednesday player to have been shown a red card in their 13 league matches after Joost van Aken against Luton, Tom Lees at Rotherham and Kadeem Harris at home to Bournemouth.
