Sheffield Wednesday slumped to a second successive defeat as they were beaten 2-0 by Doncaster Rovers.
The Owls needed a response after losing to Notts County in midweek but two goals from Owen Bailey in the first 16 minutes put the hosts in a commanding position and they could have led by more at half-time.
Wednesday improved after the break as Rovers goalkeeper Tommy Simkin denied Barry Bannan twice, Ali Al-Hamadi and Mason Burstow but the visitors had given themselves too much to do.
There were chants towards Owls boss Henrik Pedersen as Wednesday disappointed again and remain outside the play-offs.
Here are our player ratings from the game...

9. Kieran Morrison 4
Was bizarrely selected at left-back/left-wing back and, unsurprisingly, he struggled as Rovers targeted him. More comfortable when he was moved back to his natural right wing position but the damage had already been done. | ugc

10. Davis Keillor-Dunn 4
Had a shot on target in the first minute but that was as good as it got and he ended playing wide left again as Wednesday shuffled the pack after a disastrous start. Moved back centrally at half-time, curling just over after the break, but was off the pace. | ugc

11. Ali Al-Hamadi 4
Offered some running power in the opening stages as he closed down from the front but didn't get much service in the first-half. Struggled to hold it up. Denied by a very good reaction save from Simkin in the second 45 and again late on. | ugc

12. Mason Burstow 5
Back in the squad and replaced Heskey at half-time. Couldn't make the ball stick when it went up to him but forced a parry from Simkin as Wednesday pushed to halve the deficit and another low stop from a header. | ugc
