Sheffield Wednesday slumped to a second successive defeat as they were beaten 2-0 by Doncaster Rovers.
The Owls needed a response after losing to Notts County in midweek but two goals from Owen Bailey in the first 16 minutes put the hosts in a commanding position and they could have led by more at half-time.
Wednesday improved after the break as Rovers goalkeeper Tommy Simkin denied Barry Bannan twice, Ali Al-Hamadi and Mason Burstow but the visitors had given themselves too much to do.
There were chants towards Owls boss Henrik Pedersen as Wednesday disappointed again and remain outside the play-offs.
Here are our player ratings from the game...

1. Ashley Maynard-Brewer 6
Didn't stand much chance with Bailey's close-range finishes. Made a decent save from Ayinde's drive that came through a crowd of bodies at 1-0. Made a stunning save from Bailey's header late on and did well from May's one-on-one. Didn't convince with his feet. | ugc

2. Liam Palmer 5
Started in an initial three-man defence on his first league start since the opening day. Scrapped away - clearing his lines and making blocks - but lacked quality in possession. | ugc

3. Liam Cooper 5
Many wondered whether he would be able to start a third game in a week but he did. Won his aerial duels but didn't have it all his own way. | ugc

4. Max Lowe 5
His first league start since August after injury. Started on the left of a back three before switching to left-back where he was more assured and got a foot in but there understandably some rustiness. | ugc
