Passive, incompetent, outfought. Tom Lees was sent off, Aden Flint was injured and the Owls were saved further blushes by the fact that the Millers stepped off the gas with the game won at half-time.
There are plenty of low numbers in the player ratings from a third defeat on the run.

1. Cameron Dawson - 2
Errors and poor communication played a part in each of Rotherham's goals. Could've been at fault for a fourth if the Owls weren't saved by the offside flag. Looked a shadow of the strong, confident goalkeeper that started the season.

2. Julian Borner - 3
If this was his big chance, he didn't take it. At fault for the first goal and looked completely bereft of confidence. All at sea in terms of decision-making.

3. Tom Lees - 3
A nightmare return saw him sent off before Rotherham scored from the resultant penalty. In his 39 minutes, he looked shaky.

4. Aden Flint - N/A
Played only 17 minutes before he went off with an injury. Replaced by Liam Palmer.
