An eight in a defeat?! Player ratings in Sheffield Wednesday's defeat at Stoke City

They huffed and they puffed and little was blown down as Sheffield Wednesday slowed to give Stoke their first win in 12 matches at the Bet 365 Stadium.

An encouraging first half seemed to tire in the second as the hosts came on strong and scored through.. guess who? Steven Fletcher.

Let’s take a look at our player ratings..

13. Joey Pelupessy - 6

Came on with 25 minutes to go and acquitted himself well in the main, stopping an initial flow of Stoke attack from midfield. More passive as things went on. Photo: Jan Kruger
