The day is nearly upon us, Wednesdayites. This weekend, the talking stops and the Blue and White Wizards are back in action, hoping to kick off a League One promotion push.

A trip to promotion hopefuls Charlton Athletic is first up. Darren Moore has brought in half a squad of new players and has a whole load of decisions to make in a number of positions.
Could either Florian Kamberi or Theo Corbeanu make their debuts? Who will start at centre-half in the battle between Dominic Iorfa, Sam Hutchinson and Chey Dunkley? And that’s before we even get started on the five-way battle in midfield. Up front? It’s anyone’s guess.

5. CB - Sam Hutchinson
With Chey Dunkley, Hutchinson and Iorfa, there'll be competition at centre-half this season even before you factor in the fact we're expecting another new face in the door before August 1. One of the big questions ahead of Sunday's match was who would start at the heart of things at the back. Hutch was given the nod and was excellent as they kept a clean sheet. Photo: Steve Ellis
It may well be that Liam Palmer is equally comfortable at left back as he is on the right these days. The Scotland international has been assured on that side and will hope to continue his consistent form from the second half of last season. New boy Jaden Brown is the other obvious option, but against Charlton I'd be tempted to go with the added experience and defensive surety of the senior man. Photo: Steve Ellis
The big toss-up in midfield could well be between Dennis Adeniran, Massimo Luongo and new boy George Byers, all of whom would be fair enough choices. I've plumped for Adeniran on account of his performance against Huddersfield, the fact Luongo is still a little green in terms of minutes back from his injury - he was carefully managed through preseason - and that Byers is just through the door having missed Swansea's last couple of games.
