1. GK - Cameron Dawson
Keep him going. Joe Wildsmith is hot on his heels but the bottom line is that Dawson has done nothing wrong so far and looks to be growing in confidence. Deserves a long run at it as things stand. Something needs to continue to improve? His distribution. It slows Wednesday's momentum at times. Photo: Steve Ellis
2. CB - Dominic Iorfa
His pace and recovery ability will be important, you feel, against a QPR attack that will try to move the ball quickly. It's all been a bit ad-hoc so far but on the other side of the forthcoming international break you'd say what Iorfa will be aiming for is a good, hard and consistent season. One of the first names on the team sheet. Photo: Steve Ellis
3. CB - Tom Lees
Excellent this season thus far, Lees has been the bedrock of the Owls defence this season, organising the back three throughout. If he's got a point to prove, he's gone a long way to proving it and will hope to hammer the point home. A class act on his day. Photo: Steve Ellis
4. CB - Joost Van Aken
All in all, he's been pretty solid in a back three that has performed well this season. They seem to be developing an understanding and you feel van Aken has earned his way ahead of Julian Borner in the pecking order. His ability on the ball is important to what Monk wants to build.
