Monk has spoken very highly of the 20-year-old since bringing him into the first team plans (he played eight games in 2019/20), but the talented midfield man says that he’s never going to be happy as he continues to push himself to be better.

Speaking in a video with the club alongside fellow graduate, Liam Shaw, Hunt said, "I am a million miles off where I want to be and where I need to be… My ambition this season is to try and play as many times as I can, impress the manager and hopefully kick on from there. But I am never going to be happy with what I am doing because I always want more.

"We have got a real good chance now, us youngsters, playing in front of this manager and obviously he has got some new coaching staff and I think he has got a real belief in us lads to go on and do well for him."

Wednesday returned to Middlewood Road last week as Garry Monk prepares them for the season ahead.
