Reads well, doesn’t it? The Owls swatted away any lingering feelings from Saturday’s Millwall thrashing by putting basement-dwelling Wycombe Wanderers to the sword thanks to goals from Jordan Rhodes and Adam Reach.
As the snow fell on a freezing cold S6, who was hot and who was a little chillier? Let’s take a look at the player ratings..
5. Osaze Urhoghide - 7
Gave away one or two needless, momentum-sapping fouls in the first half but was otherwise solid once again. Consistency the key for him now. Photo: Bryn Lennon
6. Adam Reach - 8
Rarely not running. Put in a number of good crosses and offered width Wednesday haven't always had in recent weeks. Struck his goal well and deserved it for important but unflashy recent outings. Photo: Steve Ellis
7. Sam Hutchinson - 7
Much of the play was out wide, but what Hutchinson had to break up he did so with confidence. Moved the ball nicely. Unfussed. Photo: Steve Ellis
8. Kadeem Harris - 9
Jordan Obita will want to forget that one. Faced with a Kadeem Harris in menacing mood, he was made to look amateur in comparison. Harris has come to life in the last couple of weeks and claimed an assist and started the move for the second. Really impressive. Star Man. Photo: George Wood
