A second half brace from striker Steven Fletcher was enough to secure Wednesday all three points after they trailed 1-0 at the break. Here’s how Dom rated each player.
5. Morgan Fox - 7
A hard-working showing from the left-back. Won his fair share of tackles and tried to get forward at every available opportunity. Barely received any protection from Harris. Whipped in a great cross for Fletcher's chance. Photo: Danny Lawson
6. Jacob Murphy - 5
Brought in to replace the injured Fernando Forestieri, the Newcastle United loanee struggled to make an impact. Gave the ball away on countless occasions and did not stick to his defensive duties. Photo: Nigel Roddis
7. Sam Hutchinson - 7
Industrious display from the holding midfielder. Kept things ticking over in the centre and made several important challenges to break up Brentford's forward forays. His contribution was vital to the Owls cause. Photo: Nigel Roddis
8. Barry Bannan - 6
Not an afternoon the little Scot will look fondly back on. Bannan was stationed too deep and his passing radar let him down at times. But he showed his set piece prowess, floating in a glorious free kick for Fletcher's headed chance. Photo: George Wood
