Have your say

It’s difficult to find something positive to say about Sheffield United. The loss to Derby was a bitter pill to swallow for Blades fans -it seemed the perfect opportunity to push away from the drop zone.

It’s hard to see them getting much at Pompey. The problem is they’re not playing any of their rivals at the bottom, so our price of 1/4 that they get relegated is a fair reflection. The other firms are 1/3 but that means we are a stand out price of 11/4 that they stay up. So come on Blades fans we’re throwing down the gauntlet. If you think that you can survive then come and put your money down. One thing that is for sure is that Micky Adams is struggling.

We now have him as 3/1 second favourite to be the next Championship manager to leave his post, and if it wasn’t for Nigel Clough making a pig’s ear of Derby’s season he’d be favourite. Back to Pompey. The Blades are 7/2 to win and the draw is 5/2. The home side are 5/6.

The Owls had a much needed boost against Carlisle and gave Megson his first win in the hot seat. Could it spark a playoff push? We are now still 4/1 that they finish in the top 6 and 25/1 that they get promoted. Megsonwill relish the fight. But be warned. They host Plymouth next and I wouldn’t touch the price of 8/13 about them winning with a barge pole. The deduction of 10 points from Plymouth makes them a danger. Get on the Pilgrims at 4/1. They’ll avoid the drop.
