Why Arsenal will be without Sead Kolasinac for Sheffield United clash

Arsenal will be without full-back Sead Kolasinac for this weekend's meeting with Sheffield United at the Emirates Stadium.

The Bosnian international full-back has suffered a thigh strain which will keep him out of the clash with Chris Wilder’s United side on Saturday.

Arsenal will also be without top scorer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who will begin a three-game suspension after being sent off in last weekend’s 1-1 draw at Crystal Palace.

The 30-year-old striker, who has hit 14 goals in the Premier League this season, was originally shown a yellow card following his tackle on Palace’s Max Meyler but VAR intervened and upgraded it to a straight red.

“To lose him for three games is a massive blow for the team but we have other players,” said Gunners boss Mikel Arteta.

“We will trust them and we will put them on and we will find solutions.”
