Born on the west coast of Argentina in La Pamba, he made the 375 mile trip east to join the Argentino Juniors, where he began his senior career.

He spent three seasons with the club, helping them earn promotion, and was then snapped up by Brighton in 2019, before being loaned straight back until the end of the season.
