Where are they now? Sheffield United's starting XI from 2014 FA Cup win vs Plymouth - Including Baxter, McEveley, and Murphy

Chris Wilder will be hoping that Sheffield United can show the same kind of grit and guile that they displayed in their FA Cup third round victory over Bristol Rovers when they come up against Plymouth Argyle on Saturday.

The Blades picked up their first win of the season in any competition when they beat the Pirates earlier this month, but they certainly didn’t have things their own way for large spells in that clash.

Pegged back twice by their League One opponents, it was Jayden Bogle who eventually netted the decisive strike in a tight 3-2 win.

This weekend represents another banana skin for Wilder's struggling side too.

Plymouth are 15th in League One, and with promotion hopes and relegation fears both looking like relatively distant prospects this term, Argyle could be looking at a potential giant-killing as a means of injecting some excitement into their campaign.

It wasn’t that long ago that the two sides met in the FA Cup either.

The Blades and the Pilgrims met in the second round of the competition back in 2014, with United coming out on top in a comfortable 3-0 win.

Jose Baxter was the man of the hour that day, scoring twice from the penalty spot before substitute Marc McNulty bagged a goal of his own in the final minute.

Nigel Clough’s men went on to have a decent cup run that year too, beating QPR in the next round and forcing Preston North End to a replay before being knocked at Bramall Lane.

Here’s what happened to every member of the Blades’ starting XI from the last time they faced off against Plymouth Argyle:
