How can I watch the draw?

United fans can watch the draw live on BBC Two.

Can I stream it on my mobile device or laptop?

You’ll be able to watch live footage of the draw on the BBC’s iPlayer service, but you still need a TV licence.

Who are the biggest teams the Blades could draw?

In terms of big-boys, there’s the usual Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool and, of course, Manchester United.

And given his side’s performances in the Premier League recently, Chris Wilder won’t fear any of the above.

Sheffield Wednesday also feature in the draw, so there is potential for a Steel City derby.

What about non-league teams?

Sheffield United could potentially face AFC Fylde, Boston United, who will play Rochdale in a replay alongside Eastleigh and Hartlepool United who earned second-round replays against Crewe Alexander and Exeter City respectively.

Solihull Moors are also still in the draw, the take on League One Rotherham United after the third round draw has taken place.

Will any ex-Blades players be involved in the draw?

Unfortunately not. The BBC have opted for ex-Arsenal legend Tony Adams and former Manchester City and Aston Villa star Micah Richards.

What ball number are United?

Wilder’s men are ball number 34 in the draw.

When will the third round games be played?

Third round matches are scheduled to take place between January 3 and January 6, 2020.

How did we get on last year?

Sheffield United had somewhat bigger fish to fry last year, as they (successfully) pushed for promotion to the Premier League. It wasn’t such a big deal when they lost 1-0 to Barnet at Bramall Lane in the third round.

What’s the Blades’ best finish in the FA Cup?

The Blades have won the FA Cup four times, the most recent being 1925. It’d be nice to win the cup again, eh?
