Rob Hulse put the Blades ahead at the Kop end, before a controversial penalty earned Liverpool a penalty. But what happened to the Blades squad, and manager, from that day?
5. David Unsworth
Unsworth returned to Bramall Lane to haunt his former club at the end of the 2006/07 season, after signing for Wigan. He has taken caretaker charge of Everton in the past and is now their U23s coach Photo: Gareth Copley
6. Chris Armstrong
A popular player at Bramall Lane, Armstrong joined the Blades from Oldham but moved to Reading after falling down the pecking order. He was named Reading fans' player of the season in 2008/09, but was forced to retire after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis Photo: Steve Parkin.
7. Paul Ifill
Now 40, Ifill joined United from Millwall and helped the Blades into the Premier League. From there he joined Crystal Palace, before moving to New Zealand with Wellington Phoenix. He was last seen at Hawke's Bay United, and won 10 caps for Barbados Photo: Steve Parkin.
8. Michael Tonge
Tonge came through United's academy to some fanfare, and made his Premier League debut against Liverpool - a club he had previously been linked with. Like Kenny, he feels like he was unwanted at Bramall Lane and left to join Stoke in 2008 Photo: Gareth Copley
