The Hammers ran out 3-0 winners to move into the top four, with goals from Declan Rice (penalty), Issa Diop and Ryan Fredericks in injury time ensuring a miserable evening for the Blades in the capital.
To compound their misery, John Egan was stretchered off with his leg in a brace after a challenge with Jesse Lingard and looks likely to face a spell on the sidelines.

"Sheffield United played well and have been playing well. We know what we're up against in this division.
"They made some chances but we defended well and took our chances when we had them.
"When you get injuries or suspensions, you've got to find ways of solving it. We wanted to try and cause problems in a different way and thankfully it worked. An important three points for us tonight and a really good win."
