'We're going to Napoli' - Watch Sheffield United fans belt out a new song with Europe in their sights

At the start of the season some ‘pundits’ were falling over themselves to tell anyone who’d listen that Sheffield United would be quickly heading back to the Championship.

Now, almost halfway through the season, the Blades’ ‘basic’ style of play has seen them go into Christmas having not lost away from home all season.

Brighton were the latest team to fall victim to United, with Oli McBurnie scoring the only goal of the game at the AMEX on Saturday.

Not even the usual meddling from VAR, which – albeit rightly – ruled out goals for John Egan and Jack O’Connell, could spoil the day.

The result took Chris Wilder’s side to an incredible FIFTH place in the Premier League.

Not fighting relegation. Not struggling for goals. Not getting battered. FIFTH in the Premier League.

OK, it’s likely to be temporary, with a host of teams playing on Sunday, but fans weren’t paying attention to that.

And in tribute to their lofty position, a new song was belted out by the traveling supporters.

Old terrace favourite ‘Que sera, sera’ was revamped, with United fans gearing up for a potential European trip next season...and Italy is the preferred destination, according to these Blades who made the long journey to the south coast.

The song went: “Que sera, sera. Whatever will be, will be. We’re going to Napoli. Que sera, sera.”

No doubt, it wil get a louder airing when United play at home to Watford on Boxing Day.
