This is the incredible 16-pass move that led to Sheffield United’s third goal against Bolton at the weekend.
The move was finished off by John Fleck but was created by patient play and good movement, with skipper Billy Sharp twice holding the ball up well before Enda Stevens’ cross found Fleck to apply the finish.
Stat account OptaJoe later revealed on Twitter that no goal in the Championship this season had a longer build-up.
United were good value for their victory at the University of Bolton Stadium, with goals from Mark Duffy, Kieron Freeman and Fleck sending Wilder’s men seventh in the embryonic Championship table.
And Wilder said: “I thought there were some really good performances individually, and the attitude of the team was good.
“When you come here you have to compete and run around and drop on first and second balls.
“That allows us to play our game and there were some great goals in there.
“The third in particular was outstanding. We had to turn up today and we did. And got our rewards.”
