All eyes may be on the World Cup but Chris Wilder will already have one eye on next season.
In their first season back in the Championship for six years, United just missed out on a play-off place.
The Blades will be hoping for a similar start to last season when the Blades picked up three wins out of five Championship matches in August.
United started off their campaign with a 1-0 win over Brentford before defeats at Middlesborough and Cardiff City.
But they ended the month strongly by beating Barnsley and Derby County before wins over Sunderland and Bolton Wanderers.
So it's no wonder all the fans will be very interested for the fixture list to be released.
And they won't have to wait too long with the fixtures being released this time next week.
The Sky Bet Championship's fixtures for 2018/19 will be released on Thursday, June 21 at 9am.
This comes exactly one week after the Premier League fixtures were released.
Blades fans will be keeping a keen eye out for key matches, including Championship new boys Stoke City, West Bromwich Albion and Swansea City.
But, the most important fixture will undoubtedly be the two derby matches against Sheffield Wednesday.
Last season, the first Steel City derby fell on Sunday, September 24 before the return match on Friday, January 12.
