A final-day victory over Burnley gave United something to hold on to for next season in the Championship, but this summer could be a defining one in the club’s recent history as they look to make the next step following the end of the Chris Wilder era.

Today we are launching our big Star Blades fan’s survey, and we want your views on the past and the future. What went wrong and what lessons can be learned.

It was a season to forget for so many reasons, with United’s struggles on the pitch compounded by the fact that games were played behind-closed-doors for almost 15 months before a limited amount of supporters were allowed back into Bramall Lane for the Burnley game.

We want to know if the absence has made your heart grow fonder for United, or whether you feel more disconnected than ever. We want to know if you’ll be comfortable returning to Bramall Lane with Covid-19 still around. And we want to know how confident you feel about next season and beyond.

The responses will be collated and analysed, and the results revealed in The Star in print and online. The more responses, the better – so please take five minutes to give us your thoughts, and share the survey with as many Blades fans as you can.
