Testing finds FOUR more cases of Covid-19 at Premier League clubs

The Premier League have released their latest results after testing for Covid-19 took place this week.

It has been revealed that four more members of staff at Premier League clubs have tested postive for the virus, from three different clubs.

There had been 1,008 tests carried out on Monday and Tuesday and the clubs who have personnel test positive have not been revealed.

The statement said that “those players or club staff who have tested positive will now self-isolate for a period of seven days.”

Four the next round of testing, the number of tests made available will rise from 50 to 60.

The next set of testing will be the first to be conducted when at least some of the Premier League clubs have resumed contact training, which was unanimously approved on Wednesday.
