John Egan’s somewhat controversial red card, picked up against Aston Villa on Monday night after a tussle with Ollie Watkins, means there will be a reshuffle at the back for the Yorkshire derby at Bramall Lane.
Ethan Ampadu came off the bench to fill in at the back – David McGoldrick being sacrificed – for the remainder of that match at Villa Park and performed well.

"Ethan comes into the picture, Phil Jagielka comes into the picture, a change of shape might come into the picture,” Wilder said.
“Ethan is going to play a big part. It’s Phil’s natural position. There are decisions that have to be made.
He added: “The attitude and discipline of the team has been great, Villa didn’t break us down but there are certain things you need to tighten up on but definitely when John (Egan) is out it opens it up.”

As far as team news is concerned for the visit of Marcelo Bielsa’s side, Egan is obviously suspended and aside from that and Lys Mousset’s recovery from a minor operation, Wilder has a full squad to chose from.
