Stoke City v Blades LIVE

Gibbs-White shoots wide

after good build up play from Baldock with Berge involved too, the ref spots a deflection and it’s a corner ... which the goalkeeper comes and claims comfortably

at the back post after a good deep cross got the home fans around us excited

as MGW is fouled as he pushed the ball past his man - a decent crosing position, with Norwood Fleck and Berge standing over it - Berge steps away and Fleck takes it but it’s too heavy and evades everyone

as Egan’s ball over the top sets RND free, he’s tackled and the ball trickles out for a corner .... which is headed just about clear by a Stoke defender, it flashed across the face of goal but rolls out for a throw on the far side

as a poor pass in midfield from Norwood gives the ball away, it’s worked to Brown in space down the right but he can’t get it on target once again

for Gibbs-White as he’s sent clear, he twists and turns his marker and then pokes wide of the post

Let off for Robinson

as he’s robbed in a poor area, Brown elects to shoot rather than pass and it goes over the bar to keep it 0-0

as a pass from Berge deflects off a Stoke player and absolutely smashes ref David Webb in the mush, he goes down and receives a bit of treatment from the Stoke physios but he’s back on his feet now

Almost a chance for Gibbs-White

as he takes the ball from Fleck on the turn, nutmegs Wilmot and is then challenged by Thompson - another Blades corner, which comes to nothing

Gibbs-White has a go

on his left foot after Robinson’s long throw was only half cleared into his path, it’s deflected behind for a corner
