Around 500 hardy Sheffield United fans made the long trip to Portsmouth last night - and made their feelings clear at full-time as the battling Blades were denied a point right at the death. The Blades lost 3-2 at Fratton Park.
But that only begins to tell the story of a game that turned in the space of a few first half minutes, when Pompey went ahead and United were reduced to 10 men when Hamza Choudhury was shown a controversial second yellow card.
The consensus from Unitedites was that the decision was harsh but the 10 United players who remained on the field battled back from 2-0 down to level at 2-2, before a late winner from Ebou Adams broke their hearts.
But the travelling Blades showed their pride in their team’s battling display at the full time whistle, with thoughts now turning to another long away trip to Bristol City this weekend.
As ever our photographers were on hand to capture some great photos of Unitedites cheering on their side - can you spot anyone you recognise in our latest fan gallery?
