So who will get relegated United, Wednesday or both?

Have your say

Well the big question is whether Sheffield United can build on their 2-0 win over Leeds and claw their way out of the relegation zone.

They are 1/3 to be relegated and 9/4 to stay up so obviously we don’t think they will. However we could be proved wrong.

Next up is QPR away on Monday, April 4 so you can see where we are coming from.

In fact we are betting on their final finishing position and we make it Evens that they finish 23rd or below and 8/11 that they are 22nd or higher. The key factor is to find who else apart from Palace could self destruct. Coventry City could well be vulnerable and Derby are very average, so there could be a twist yet. Anyway Blades fans, prove us wrong and get your dough down.

Talking of money I lost over a million at the Cheltenham Festival. The punters took me to the cleaners but I doff my hat to them. It was their moment.

Rotherham have sacked Ronnie Moore and it was no surprise if you watched the Chesterfield match. They were woeful. Anyway we have prices on who will take over on a permanent basis. The caretaker Andy Liddell is 2/1 favourite, and if he makes a good fist of it then it is his to lose. But others in the frame include Danny Wilson and Dave Penney at 8/1, Kevin Blackwell and Phil Parkinson at 9’s with John Hughes and Steve Thompson at 10/1. They are 5/2 to get promoted, so Liddell has a lot on his plate. But he’s was a good pro so I’m sure he’ll be out to impress. Check out the full list of contenders:

Another big question on the lips of Owls fans is ‘Will we go down?’ Logic says no, but the way the season has panned out you have to have a nagging doubt. They are 25/1 to do so, but their next match is away to Dagenham & Redbridge who are just above the drop zone. Lose this one and things could get sticky for Gary Megson. And we are out to lay Wednesday at a best priced 15/8.

We think they are worth opposing against the Daggers. Sorry Owls fans but that’s how we see it. Get on the 15/8 if you think we have got it wrong!
