“We did what we had to do,” Santos, referring to Podence’s enforced period of isolation, said. “The moment he returned he went to his home.
“He tested two times negative and can join us. There's a law which allows this situation and he will probably join us. It's very positive because we need all the players.”
Podence, who cost £17m when he moved to Molineux in January, has yet to start a Premier League match since leaving Piraeus.
