Speaking to the Express & Star, Robinson lauded his teammates who operate alongside him in a dynamic attacking formation, and said: "I think when you are playing with good footballers, it’s easy. Those players are all comfortable on the ball, they can take it in and I’m just really enjoying playing with them.

“I think we have got a bit of everything. Hal (Robson-Kanu) is our base up there. Matheus (Pereira) speaks for himself, he is an unbelievably talented footballer. And Filip (Krovinovic) is such a technically-gifted footballer as well and finds those passes. I have just been enjoying it.”

The Republic of Ireland international joined the Blades for £6 million last summer, in a transfer window that saw United smash their transfer record on four separate occasions

However, the forward failed to reproduce the fine form that prompted Chris Wilder to bring him in from Preston, scoring just once in 16 league appearances for the Blades.

Robinson netted the opening goal of the game in his side's draw on Saturday, and also saw a last gasp effort controversially disallowed, as teammate Kyle Bartley was deemed to be offside, despite the ball touching him when he was over the goal line.

The 25-year-old was delighted to get off the mark, and said: "I think I have been putting in good performances for the team – the only thing missing was that goal so I was happy to get it and help the boys get a good point."

“I think I should have had another. It should have been a goal. I had a lot of texts come through from family and friends. Everyone is saying Barts is already in the goal when it goes in."

He concluded: “I don’t know how he can be offside, he is not interfering because he’s in the net. I don’t get that one but we aren’t bitter about it.”
