Sheffield United will face League One opposition in FA Cup third round
Sheffield United have learned their FA Cup fate for this season and will be on their travels for their third round tie.
The Blades have been drawn against League One side Bristol Rovers, who made it through to the third round by way of a 6-0 win over Darlington on Sunday.
Rovers, managed by Paul Tisdale, are currently 21st in the League One table having won three of their 13 games so far this season.
United had their best run in the FA Cup under Chris Wilder last season when they made through to the quarter finals before losing out to eventual winners Arsenal at Bramall Lane.

Ties for the third round of the competition will be played on the weekend of Saturday 9 and Monday 11, January 2021. The 32 winning clubs will each pick up £82,000 from the third-round stage in prize money.
United are scheduled to take on Newcastle United in the Premier League on January 12.
