The Blades – who beat Millwall to reach the last 16 – have been drawn away at either Reading or Cardiff City in the last 16 with the two Championship sides set for a replay next week.

The two sides battled out a 1-1 draw at the weekend and will go again at the Cardiff City Stadium next Tuesday for the right to hosts the Blades.

United have played Reading twice in the FA Cup, with the last meeting in 2013 ending in a 4-0 win for the Royals. The Blades triumphed 1-0 over Reading in the competition in 1998.

The Blades have beaten Cardiff three times out of four meetings between the sides in the FA Cup.

Fifth round ties will take place in the midweek of March 4. The move to midweek is designed to avoid further disruption to the league calendar.

There will also be no replays at the fifth round stage and beyond.
