NEW recruits Tony McMahon, Matt Hill and Shaun Miller could all make their Sheffield United debuts in their pre-season friendly with Rotherham United tomorrow night, writes Dom Howson.

Manager Danny Wilson bolstered his threadbare Blades squad by caturing the trio this afternoon.

Free agents McMahon and Hill have penned two-year deals at Bramall Lane and Miller, who has arrived for an undisclosed fee from Crewe Alexandra, has agreed a two-year contract, with the option of a third.

McMahon is a right-back by trade but can also be deployed as an emergency centre-back. Hill, who had a successful loan spell at United at the end of the last season, has joined the League One outfit on a permanent basis. He can operate at left-back or centre-half.

Wilson has tracked striker Miller since he became United boss in May 2011.
