Sheffield United's summer transfer window wrapped up
Sheffield United’s summer transfer window
It’s been a rollercoaster of a summer for Sheffield United, amid growing uncertainty under owners Steven Rosen and Helmy Eltoukhy.

Despite minimal money being spent by United, they’ve secured the signature of six players, with three being familiar faces around Shirecliffe.
Here is a list of all the players that have put pen to paper at Sheffield United this transfer window.
Promising winger Rommel Donovan arrives on a one-year loan deal from Premier League side Brentford. The 19-year-old right-back made 4 Premier League appearances last season, accumulating 38 minutes of top-flight football. He also started two matches in the FA Cup.
Experienced Irishman Matt Doherty arrives at Bramall Lane on a one-year deal from Wolves after his contract expires. The 34-year-old made 15 appearances last season, with 11 in the Premier League.
Kalvin Phillips returns on loan from Manchester City after his previous spell was cut short due to sustaining a knee injury. Consequently, the former England international only played three times for The Blades. The 30-year-old will be looking to redeem himself after his red card in the Steel City Derby last season.
Ben Brereton Diaz returns to Sheffield after United had beaten Derby County in the race for his signature from Southampton on a one-year loan. The Chilean international had spent the last year at Pride Park, netting 8 goals and providing 3 assists in 41 appearances for The Rams.
Hamza Choudhury also returns to Bramall Lane after The Blades had once again beaten Derby County in the race for the Bangladesh international. He signs on an initial one-year deal. Wilder sees the 28-year-old primarily as a central midfielder but has recognised that he is also an option at right back.
Liam Kitching was the last one through the door, coning in from Coventry City on deadline day as the central defender that Chris Wilder has been looking for throughout the window.
