Sheffield United transfer news: Bid for midfielder 'accepted' and Arsenal and Tottenham hunt Blades pair

Several Sheffield United players continue to be linked with an immediate return to the Premier League, despite the club’s insistence there will be no “fire sale” this summer.

Another Blades player has also been linked with an exit, with the potential move reportedly on hold until Slavisa Jokanovic officially starts as manager on 1 July.

Elsewhere in the Championship, several of United’s rivals have begun reshaping their sides ahead of the new season, which starts on Saturday, 7 August.

That includes changes at the top, too, with former Blades boss Chris Wilder reportedly in the frame to replace Scott Parker at Fulham should he decide to take over at Bournemouth.

The Star understands the west London club would be interested in speaking to Wilder about their potential vacancy.

The out-of-work boss was snapped enjoying a game of golf in Sheffield yesterday alongside TV host Dan Walker.
