The Burnley boss admitted he was looking to sign "a player or two", but refused to be drawn on specific names, and revealed he's keen for some existing squad players to get match fit.

Sheffield United new favourites to sign Liverpool starlet

The Blades are desperate to sign a new striker to start banging in the goals, and the club have now been reinstated as the bookies' 6/4 favourite to sign Liverpool youngster Rhian Brewster, ahead of Aston Villa and Crystal Palace.

Notably, the England youth sensation wasn't named in the Reds' squad to face Lincoln City in the Carabao Cup last night.

Leicester City and Aston Villa cash in on players

Leicester City have confirmed today that Malian winger Fousseni Diabate has left the club to join Turkish side Trabzonspor, in a deal thought to be worth around €2m.

Meanwhile, Villa have flogged flop striker Mbwana Samatta to Fenerbahce, on a loan deal with obligation-to-buy for a fee of £5.5m at the end of the current campaign.
