Emmanuel Dennis was reported to have caught the eye of Chris Wilder and Co. with his good form for Brugge last season - including two goals against Real Madrid.

But Het Laatste Nieuws report that the 23-year-old will miss tonight's Champions League tie against Borussia Dortmund and could be fined by the club.

The Belgian outlet added that Dennis stormed off the team coach because he was told he couldn't sit where he wanted. Brugge boss Philippe Clement revealed yesterday that the Nigerian had been dropped for disciplinary reasons, but didn't reveal the specific reason.

Dennis scored his only goal of the season so far in Brugge's Champions League win over Zenit Saint Petersburg last month. Brugge, though, are top of the Belgian first division - just above Beerschot, owned by Prince Abdullah.
