Representatives from Bramall Lane took part in today’s teleconference, which saw members take their most important step yet towards completing the fixture schedule.

With the first two rounds of a competition-wide screening programme returning eight positive tests, there appears to be growing confidence about the effectiveness of these measures behind the scenes.

Premier League Shareholders today voted unanimously to resume contact training, marking another step towards restarting the Premier League season, when safe to do so,” a statement released by the PL confirmed.

“The Premier League’s priority is the health and wellbeing of all participants.”
