Sheffield United ‘submit’ big-money bid for the 'next Kylian Mbappe'
Reports from Europe suggest that Sheffield United have submitted a big-money bid for one of the most promising young players on the continent.
Sheffield United have reportedly submitted a bid for the ‘next Kylian Mbappe’.
Florinel Coman plys his trade for Steaua Bucharest in Romania, and has been linked with both Manchester City and West Ham United in recent weeks.
Dubbed by some as the ‘Romanian Mbappe’, he appears to have caught the eye of a number of Europe’s top clubs with his impressive form.
Manchester City were said to be leading the chase to sign him, yet an exclusive report from Gazeta Sporturilor in his home country claims that Sheffield United have submitted a bid for the star striker.
The report says: “FCSB received a written offer of 16 million euros from Sheffield United. If Becali accepts, the move would take place in the summer, now the transfer period in England is closed.
“Florinel Coman has been the best player at FCSB this season, scoring 12 goals in 28 matches in all competitions.”
The Blades signalled their intent with the impressive capture of Sander Berge in the January transfer window, and it is sure to excite United fans to see the club linked with another promising talent.
