With the Blades and their fellow football clubs hopeful of opening stadia next season with full capacity after over a year of playing behind closed doors, United have today opened up season ticket renewals.

“As the lifeblood of the club your absence has been felt by us all and we cannot wait to hear the roar of Bramall Lane yet again,” the club said in the announcement.

Fans can renew their season tickets from today until 5pm on May 28. The ticket office at Bramall Lane will not be open, due to social distancing restrictions, so renewals are only available online or over the phone.

Fans who have credit left over from their 2019/20 season tickets, when they were prevented from watching games at Bramall Lane by Covid-19 rules, will see that applied to the 2019/20 lead purchaser amount, rather than individual accounts.

Any fans who received a refund from 2019/20 will not be eligible for the renewal price, and a returning fan price will apply to them.

United will also introduce a new initiative called ClubCash, with season ticket holders in 2021/22 receiving three per cent back to spend in the club shop.

Season ticket holders can also earn ClubCash on additional match tickets and buying merchandise from the club shop and online.
