United, who play Girona in a behind-closed-doors game in Manchester tomorrow, named a youthful bench with a number of first-team players set to appear in that game.

![Looked a little uncertain on the ball early on as he surrendered possession in a dangerous area as United looked to keep the ball against the Millers’ high press. One lovely cross was taken off Ndiaye’s head by Jebbison as both men converged at the back post,](https://www.thestar.co.uk/jpim-static/image/2023/07/19/13/DSC01897.jpg?crop=3:2&width=800)

![Skipper for the evening and had a big let off when his poor pass was intercepted but the ball through to goalscorer Green was too heavy, Norwood holding up his hands to apologise. Was otherwise tidy enough on the ball before his game ended prematurely with a head injury after colliding with Neal, making way for Staniland before the break](https://www.thestar.co.uk/jpim-static/image/2023/07/19/13/DSC01725.jpg?crop=3:2&width=800)

![Great covering run and tackle prevented a great chance for the Millers as Rathbone drove at the Blades defence and looked to slip in Wiles who would have been clear on Foderingham’s goal. Showed some nice touches under pressure whilst on the ball as well, and clearly loves a tackle. ![Looked visibly frustrated with himself towards the end of the first half with one stray pass too many which, instead of sending Ndiaye free, ended up in the hands of Johansson after being badly overhit. Saw a very good penalty shout turned down after being wrestled to the ground by Rathbone and was full of energy, always offering an option to a teammate on the ball](https://www.thestar.co.uk/jpim-static/image/2023/07/19/08/GettyImages-1548338907.jpg?crop=3:2&width=800)
