Norwood ‘in demand’

Soon to be released Blades midfielder Oliver Norwood will not find it difficult to find a new club this summer, according to Football Insider. Norwood was hugely popular among United fans, and for good reason given the consistent performances he delivered in the club’s midfield.

But Norwood has been set for release, and according to Football Insider, Sunderland, Watford and Hull City are all battling for his signature. The midfielder’s agent is likely already discussing possible moves with clubs ahead of pre-season kicking off in July.

Llorente ‘for sale’

Leeds United star Diego Llorente is reportedly available for a bargain fee this summer. The centre-back has been on loan with AS Roma this season, but it does not look as if the Italian giants will move to keep him, although no final decision has been made.

According to Football Italia, Llorente is available for just £4.2million this summer, with Leeds needing to raise funds regardless of whether they win promotion to the Premier League or not, facing Southampton in the playoff final this Sunday. If Leeds don’t go up, they will need to raise a lot of money to balance the books, while a win will leave them wanting to raise money for new signings.
