Sheffield United set to receive striker boost ahead of televised clash with AFC Bournemouth

The striker, who was an influential member of United's squad as they sealed promotion from the Championship last season, has suffered a foot injury and was a notable absentee from the teamsheet at Crystal Palace on Saturday.

But Chris Wilder, who signed another striker on deadline day in Richairo Živković after allowing Callum Robinson to join Championship promotion-chasers West Brom on loan, expects McGoldrick to be in contention to play against Eddie Howe's Cherries next weekend before the Blades' winter break.
