Sheffield United’s availability crisis may have eased a little from its peak in midweek, but Chris Wilder is still facing some tough decisions ahead of Friday night’s trip to West Bromwich Albion. The Blades chief had to make eight changes for Tuesday’s 1-1 draw with Norwich City.
A combination of illness and injury decimated the options at his disposal but things have eased a little on both fronts, with Mark McGuinness, Sam McCallum and Jairo Riedewald expected to return to the squad at the Hawthorns.
Sydie Peck remains unavailable, Wilder said, while there are other dilemmas in defence, midfield and attack as the Blades look to continue their recent momentum against the struggling Baggies.
We tasked our man once again to select the side he thinks Wilder may send out against Ryan Mason’s side - has he got it just about right or would you do anything differently?

9. Callum O'Hare/Gus Hamer
Which leaves, on the other wing, another huge decision between two of United's best creative talents. Assuming Wilder sticks with two up top, as expected, then something is going to have to give in terms of the combinations behind them. 10. Patrick Bamford
Both Ings and Cannon have scored this season but it seems like Bamford is part of Wilder's first-choice strike force, and rightly so too with a couple of goals to his name already. He offers much more than just goal threat, though, and has been a smart signing so far Photo: Simon Bellis

11. Tyrese Campbell
The forward has not hit the heights he reached last season but the threat he offers, running in behind and working the channels, is obvious and with Cannon getting the start in midweek, the smart money is surely on another rotation a few days later | Sportimage
