Dean Henderson 10

Made a remarkable save to deny Vrancic and Drmic, with help from McGoldrick and the crossbar. A piece of goalkeeping that really has to be seen to be believed. A player who will go to the very top

George Baldock 7

A good afternoon going both ways for the full back, who handed the lively Jamal Lewis well all game

Chris Basham 8

Almost lit up the game in the second half with a beautiful bit of skill to lift the ball over the defender but he couldn’t apply the finishing touch. Flew into a challenge in the dying minutes

John Egan 8

Had a let off when his poor header fell to Pukki, who hit the post, but showed great awareness later on to cushion a header back to Henderson under pressure

Jack O’Connell 8

Unfortunate not to open the scoring with a shot in the first half which McLean somehow deflected clear of goal. Won everything defensively

Enda Stevens 7

Back in the side after injury and looked like he’d never been away. So composed when he’s on the ball and a real threat down the left for United – but picked up another injury

Ollie Norwood 7

Set up one chance for the Blades in the first half with a superb challenge to win back the ball and although Norwich didn’t afford him the space to play his normal game, was still effective

John Lundstram 7

Regained his place at expense of Sander Berge and had a first half to forget – until a peach of a cross set up Sharp for opening goal. Had two or three good chances after that

John Fleck 8

Penalised a couple of times early on for late tackles but then absolutely cemented Kenny McLean in one soon after. Carried the ball so well and chipped in defensively, too

Oli McBurnie 7

Had a good sight of goal in the second half but tried to take the ball inside and lost it. Earlier forced a regulation save from Krul with a header the ‘keeper tipped over the bar

Led the line superbly all afternoon and capped his display with a bullet header, from Lundstram’s superb cross. Made way for McGoldrick to a standing ovation from the home crowd

Subs

Ben Osborn 7

Replaced Enda Stevens at wing back for the second time in as many league games and didn’t look out of place once more

David McGoldrick 8

Earns an extra point for his hand in Henderson’s superb double save, deflecting the ball onto the crossbar

Sander Berge n/a

Replaced McBurnie after he was poleaxed by Krul but the referee didn’t stop play for his head injury
